Public Speaking Confidence Workshop
A practical, interactive workshop designed to help students feel more comfortable speaking in front of others.
Students will learn and practice:
How to manage nerves before and during a presentation
Simple techniques for sounding more confident, including pace, volume, tone, and pauses
How to organize an idea clearly so they know what to say and where to go next
Eye contact and body language that help communicate confidence
Quick strategies for thinking on your feet when you lose your train of thought
Short, low-pressure speaking exercises that allow students to build confidence through practice
What Students Leave With:
Students will gain an introduction to the fundamentals of confident public speaking, along with a few practical tools they can begin experimenting with in presentations, interviews, group discussions, speeches, and everyday situations.
The workshop is designed to give students a taste of what confident speaking can look and feel like, while helping them identify strategies that may make speaking in front of others feel a little more manageable.
The goal isn't to transform a student's confidence in 90 minutes. Instead, students leave with greater awareness, a few practical techniques to try, and an encouraging first experience with public speaking practice.
